Hanging Gymnastics
The normal purpose of a Prusik is to enable something to slide up and down a rope, and we can now take advantage of that feature to adjust the height of the torch.

Excitingly, we can also take advantage of the fact that a Prusik can be rotated around a rope - i.e. the Prusik allows two types of movement, as illustrated:

The main line that leads to the torch can be rotated inside the Prusik knot, but it's a little bit fiddly to do. For best results, twist the main line close to the knot, while also sliding the Prusik slightly. With a bit of practice, it becomes quite easy to rotate the torch into any position.

Add to that the fact that you can slide the Constrictor Hitch along the length of the torch, and you now have the ability to point the thing in just about any direction you want:

And in the case of a Mini Maglite, you can put it into "candle mode", and pop the head on the back of the torch so that you don't lose it:

There you have it. What more can you possibly ask for?
