A bit of care is needed when folding them out, as one side of the scissors needs to be rotated almost 180 degrees before being used, and you need to keep your fingers away from all the sharp bits because they are ... very sharp.Here are the scissors: ![]() They are very small. The useful cutting edge is about 1.5cm (just over half an inch). However, they do work very well, they are very sharp, and they allow for very precise cutting. Here is a random shape that we drew on paper, to see how accurately we could cut around it: ![]() And here are the results: ![]() Not only do the scissors allow for precise cutting, but they were much less awkward to use than we had expected, especially considering how small they were. They have a nice spring-loaded action, and they are sure to make wilderness art sessions an absolute joy.
